The Mohawk is warm drop forged using a stronger aluminum compared to the more commonly used 6061-T6 aluminum. Instead we use 6082 for its higher strength and better corrosion resistance along with a forging technique that orientates the grain flow of the aluminum to maximize the strength of your connection point providing a work load limit of 7,000lbs.
