“Fluxwrap by North Slope Chillers 30-Gallon Fluxwrap Drum Cooling Jacket w/additional Insulation Wrap Flux Wrap products make it easy and cost-effective to cool various applications like spray foam, coatings, adhesives, fermentation systems, and electric motors. Flux Wrap can chill a wide range of materials in buckets, drums, IBC totes, tanks, and all manner of vessels even when a heat exchanger is not currently present. Flux Wraps allow chilling to be applied to many vessels that were previously not able to be chilled or in situations that previously were not financially feasible. Then simply change the temperature of the fluid, and you have an effective medium for heating. Flux Wrap is a versatile fluid temperature control solution. Wrap the cooling jacket around your 30-gallon drum/barrel, and connect the hoses on the cooling jacket to the inlet valve on your industrial chiller. Wrap the white vinyl 1/2in. insulation blanket around the Flux Wrap when operating to help with performance. Plug your industrial chiller in and chill your application, that is all there is to it. The chiller circulates the hot or cold fluid through the Flux Wrap jacket and either warms or cools the contents of your 30-gallon drum container. With a Flux Wrap jacket, you can efficiently regulate temperature-sensitive material under both regular and hot conditions. The industrial chiller shown in the picture is not included and can be purchased from North Slope Chillers or Powerblanket separately Construction Material: 210D Nylon Maximum Pressure Rating: 20 PSI @ inlet Flow Rate: 4 GPM @ 5 PSI Connection: 5/8″” ID Hose Min/Max Surface Temperature: -10 °F/150 °F (-23.3 °C/65.5 °C) Upper-Temperature Limit: 120 °F (Water) 50 °F (Water/Glycol) Cooling Fluid: Water (if the fluid temp is greater than 45 °F) -OR- Propylene Glycol/Water (1:1 max ratio) -OR- Ethylene Glycol/Water (1:1 max ratio) Approximate Fluid Volume: 5/8 Gallons Condensation Warning: When running cold fluid through the fluid channel jacket condensation can build up on the fluid paths. If condensation is a concern it is recommended that an insulated wrap is installed over the product. Powerblanket is not liable for damages due to condensation. The included Flux Wrap Insulated Wrap is designed to control condensation and improve efficiency.
